The Right Coast Formula F Series is very pleased to announce our five-race schedule for 2019! Staying true to our stated purpose, we will be racing at five of the most challenging tracks in the country. These tracks provide our drivers with great test of their skills as well as guaranteeing great racing.
The year of 2019 will be, or rather has become, the North American Season of Formula F. There is a plethora of commemorative events being scheduled to celebrate the golden or 50th Anniversary of Formula F in the United States. The Right Coast schedule includes two special weekends to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Formula F in the United States.
We know that it is sometimes very difficult to find a way to get to one of these special commemorative events between work, family commitments, etc. so we decided to provide the Formula F community with two opportunities to help celebrate the Golden Anniversary of the best class of race car ever invented.

June 28 - 30, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with Formula Race Promotions, sanction by SCCA
|
DETAILS
While all the upcoming season’s 50th anniversary events are being held at terrific race tracks, we have unfortunately also seen that not all Formula F cars are welcome at all these celebratory events. All Formula F cars are welcome at Right Coast Formula F series events. Ford or Honda power; slick or treaded tires, if you are legal according to SCCA GCR Formula F specifications you are welcome to race with us.
Pre-registration site for the Golden Anniversary Part 1 in now open (click here or on the Pre-registration link above to pre-register). This is so we can begin to get a count of the drivers who are planning on coming to the always challenging Mid Ohio Sports Car Course to relive the many years of FF racing held there. With a dozen Runoffs National Championships contested at Mid Oho in the 1990’s and early 2000’s, as well as a return in 2016, there is so much FF history ingrained on Steam Corners Rd that you can feel it when you drive in.

DETAILS
Weekend four will be on August 23-25, at Summit Point Raceway main course with the Woodbridge Karting Club and Formula Race Promotions, as in 2017 and 2018. Summit Point is the ancestral home of DUFFUS/Right Coast and has long been one of everyone’s favorites. The Summit Point Circuit provides another venue that lends itself to great racing. A challenging track with a couple of great passing opportunities and a good mix of slow, medium and fast corners. We also get to see the great racing in the pro F1600/F2000 series, the Challenge Cups Series cars, and the karts are spectacular. This is our last event before we head to Road Atlanta for The Golden Anniversary Part 2.

Licensing & Tech
As for driver licensing, almost any current racing license is acceptable although SCCA is easier for most of us, we can accept FRCCA, EMRA, any Vintage Motorsport Council [VMC] member club licenses. If you have a question please contact us and we will figure it out!
Vehicle logbooks are always a good idea and bring helmets/Hans with you so Tech is happy.
