Racing with the RCFFS series is by far the most fun I have ever had in racing.  I was thinking about getting out of FF due to mixed car fields and lack of track time until I ran my first event with this group.  It is a nice sight to see 20 plus FF/CF cars on grid!  I am not even interested in running club events unless I need to test the car.  The weekends with this group always puts a smile on my face and I have had my share of bad weekends with car issues.  But being around this group always seems to make it better.  You will not find a better group of drivers that are always willing to give you a hand or let you borrow anything they have just to get you back on track.  I can't wait until the 2017 season starts!

Some of the best people and best racing I have ever experienced over my time in open wheel club racing, now five decades worth!  What a great group of competitors running just FF/CF races at great tracks with excellent track time, what’s not to love?

RCFFS events have been the most enjoyable racing I've done the last few years.  Good fields, great people, fun tracks.

I have competed in several Right Coast events.  Every event is very well organized, the single class racing is great, on track is hard but fair racing and the camaraderie in the paddock is incredible.  Great fun!

Right Coast racing is huge! Anything  else is a disaster, total disaster. Anyone who says otherwise is fake news.  Ha, ha.

By far, the RCFFS series provided the most fun in my 12 years of FF racing in the Northeast! After racing in the SCCA Regionals & Majors, the NARRC-offs, as well as the F1600 Pro-Series, I can easily say that the RCFFS racing take the cake! You'll experience competitive, respectful, clean on-track racing and you'll have friendly interactions with the other drivers & crew in the paddock. You'll learn about the men behind the helmets and grow your racing family every weekend. There's a strong community presence and we do everything we can to keep each other's cars running and improving with every session. It will undoubtedly be a positive experience and there won't be any shortages of smiles and laughs.

Top 10 reasons to race with RCFFS:

1. U want Formula F only run groups?
U got it. Single class racing.
2. U want lots of track time and multiple races?
U got it. Hours of track time.
3. U want to race at great tracks?
U got it. NJMP, Mid-Ohio, Pitt Race, Summit Point, Watkins Glen
4. U want great value for your entry fee?
U got it. Compare $ / hour of track time.
5. U want great competition?
U got it.  The Club Fords on Hoosier R60's are not at a great disadvantage to the modern Formula F cars on the Hoosier     Radial spec tire, which is a harder compound like the R60 as witnessed by both types of cars mixing it up at the front and     throughout the field.
6. U want to test yourself against some of the best?
U got it.  Some of the best and most consistent CF drivers around.
7. U want a place to race, but are just starting out?
U got it.  Always plenty of experienced drivers and crew ready to help anyone in need.
8. U want to be treated with respect and like a customer?
U got it. Run by racers for racers.
9. U want to race on the same weekend as the Pro series?
U got it for some weekends - a chance to get noticed!
10. U want consistent officiating?
U got it. Run by racers for racers.
11. U want camaraderie?
U got it.  Cold drinks after the races and a few prizes thrown in as well from generous Series partners.

OK, I lied, there are more than 10 good reasons to race with RCFFS!

The first time I raced at an event with RCFFS, I felt like I was home. What a great bunch of people and very friendly. I did not know anybody when I arrived at Mid-Ohio but was soon made to feel like family. When I had some brake problems, others helped out and got me back out on the track.  The experience and friendliness will have me returning this year and hopefully for more than one event. Thanks to Joe and the racers for making me feel welcome. And the after race events are excellent too. Well done RCFFS and thank you.

My first club race  was with RCFFs during a FRP weekend.  I would encourage anyone to get started in this environment.  Joe and others were there to greet me at 6am on Friday and supported anything I needed to get registered and tech'd.  I felt welcomed the entire weekend and had fun mixing with the drivers.  The competition was excellent and I really enjoyed the variety of cars on the grid.  I would recommend racing RCFFs to anyone looking to check all of the boxes for a fun weekend.  Thanks RCFFs!

Why do I race with RCFFS?

It's very simple. This group is run for racers, by racers.

First, and most importantly, the racing. Single class run groups at some of the most fun and challenging road courses in the East. Close but clean racing with some excellent competition up and down the grid. No matter your skill level, I can guarantee you will have someone to battle with! No yellow flag filled "Alphabet soup" formula car groupings like I had previously experienced at SCCA Club Races. The events are run mostly with Formula Race Promotions (FRP) Pro F1600, F2000, and Formula Atlantic. Talk about action packed weekends of small bore formula car racing!

Second, the track time. In a normal SCCA Regional weekend, we would typically get 1 practice session, 1 or 2 qualifying sessions, and 1 race, totaling about 60-75 minutes of seat time. Every RCFFS weekend will include 2 practice sessions, 1 qualifying session, and 3 races, totaling about 2 1/2 hours of track time per weekend! Great bang for your buck, and it certainly makes the trip worthwhile!

Finally, the camaraderie. The drivers and crew members in the RCFFS are very welcoming and friendly. We all help each other out, whether it's getting someones car repaired, loaning a part, or even a crew member to help another team out. We all push each other to become better drivers, mechanics, and engineers. Not to mention, the evening social gathering at Joe's trailer is always a good time! Nothing like winding down the evening at the track, having a few adult beverages, telling racing stories from the day, or even some from 30 years ago!

Come out and race with RCFFS, I promise you will be hooked instantly!

For me, the Right Coast Formula F series is  everything Formula F racing can and should be.

The races are very well run, especially laid back events, done only for the sake of the racing by folks who are passionate about seeing it succeed. This comes with a great sense of community and not to mention, some very competitive people.  This means very good drivers to compete against ..... which if nothing else provides a great bench mark with which to measure oneself by.

It is great experience to be on the track with 20 plus cars and only FF/CF cars.

The track time is as good as gets short of wearing me out by the end of day. Reminds me of the good ole days..... And, of course all FF cars are welcome.

I am always  amazed at the willingness of competitors to lend a hand to anyone needing a hand with any problem that might arise.

If all of this not quite enough, Mr. Rand is dedicated to making sure that there is always plenty of free beer to drink at  the end of the day.

This is especially impressive.

So to quote a famous FF driver* from days gone by "Come on down".
